The Dermatology Centre prides itself in conducting regular skin checks and mole checks to a very high professional standard and this forms a very large part of the practice. With the high incidence of melanoma and increasing the awareness demand for mole checks has increased considerably and we are one of the prime centres for providing this service.
Skin checks are conducted on a regular basis for diagnosis for various melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers and treatment offered according to the latest evidence based options.
All kinds of skin surgery is available including skin grafts, various skin flaps and excisions of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers and also some benign lesions. This is done to a very high standard with excellent facilities which include a modern theatre maintained up to a very high standard as for the New Zealand Surgical Standard requirements. This place has been audited regularly and we do take pride in providing the best facilities in Palmerston North regarding this.
All types of dermatology conditions are provided which include, for example, psoriasis, eczema, acneiform eruptions, pigmentary disorders and various other rare skin disorders.
